How long are the front leaf springs on a 48-55 pickup?
As the title says, im trying to find out the length of the front leaf springs of a 47-55 pickup. I'm using front leafs from my 55-59 frame for a custom project but think that I may be better off with a 48-55 front setup because i think the springs are shorter... are the 48-55 leafs also 2" wide (like the 55-59?) I could always just buy new springs for the older trucks if the widths are the same unless someone here knows why they wouldn't bolt on to the stock mounts on a 55-59...
anyways, any info will be appreciated... |

I'm shocked that noone has measurements for the front springs of an Advance Design truck...
Anyone? Does anyone know if they used 2" wide springs? there's gotta be someone out there with an S10 swap that has a bare frame in their yard that they can measure... Let me know if ya do! thanks. |
