87 chevy long bed
I have an 87 chevy truck and i want to put the 89 front headlight assembly on it. I went and bought one complete including the wiring harness. I was told from a couple different people that it was a direct fit. All i had to do is install it and plug the harness into mine. I have also been told that i have to re-wire the factory harness in order for it to work on my truck. Can anyone help me out with this so i can get it installed. Thanks

Re: 87 chevy long bed
as long as you got duall head lights cut the head light wires and then put a conector to put them together and you also have to do the front turn signals its real easy to do less then about 2 hours or so (if you have the correct know how and tools and now rusted bolds) it can be done

Re: 87 chevy long bed
Hey Trout thanks for the info. I was wondering if I was going to run into alot of problems with the swap. Have you swaped one of these out before? I was wondering if anybody else has any more input on swaping out the front clips.
