Well it looks good in the before pic. So lets see the after. You'll need to make two post for two pics, at least thats what I have to do. How much did you drop and how?

After an Early classic rear air ride, and 2.5 drop sindles and 1.5 drop springs.
I would actually like the back a bit lower, but I am only 1 inch above the bump stop as it is. Being that close I may have to raise it a bit more. What can I do to get another inch in the rear. Can I cut down the bump stops a little? Or is a c-notch required to get any lower? I have yet to drive it lowered because I need to pick up a new tie rod end in the morning. So I'm not sure if I'm already too close to the bumps stops already or not.

Your truck looks good with the new additude. I don't see any problem with trimming down the bump stop. I think I've seen a few post where people have done it for the reasons you mention. Just so you have a stop before the axle or pumkin make contact with anything like the bed or frame. I think I've seen some progressive type bump stops somewhere. Slight contact is pretty much absorbed as it compresses it stiffens up.

Very nice!! The late model bed looks cool.

Not sure if I'd lower it any more, it looks perfect like it sits now.

No problem trimming bump stops. I trimmed about 1 inch off mine and when I got the flip kit for the rear of my '77 it came with really thin (1/2 inch) polyurethane bump stops as replacments.

BTW your truck looks great!
