using 1988-95 chevy headers
So I've been looking for a set of headers and at the right price too. The other problem I have is ground clearance. Having dropped my 67 4.5 inches in the front and i have a cross member from CPP that i can pass the exhaust through. I was wondering if short headers from a 1988-95 chevy truck will fit on my truck?
Thanks in advance Heres the headers i was eyeballing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-0L-5-7L-V8...item19caf60a05

Don't know for sure, but looks to me like they would hit the firewall. Maybe not.

Re: using 1988-95 chevy headers
I bought a set when i did a tpi swap in my 68. They were too wide for the frame, the collectors hit the frame but they will work if you clearance the frame. the frame was more important to me so i didn't do it.

Re: using 1988-95 chevy headers
I am currently running the same headers and yes they do need some minor clearancing of the upper lip of both frame rails and some heavier clearancing of the drivers side lower frame rail lip... The nice part about them is the number 1 and 5 tubes go up and over the others making plug wire routing and plug replacement a bit easier....
