is it just me - this looks like a sweet truck for a good price

on ebay - not mine, and don't know the seller - I'm personally not a 3/4 ton kinda guy, but if I were looking for a sweet truck for work, I can't imagine you could restore one for less than this. Truck looks to be well done and in super condition. Jocko like. Enjoy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...cb0e184d#v4-37

Very nice. Looks like a slightly older restor that's been well taken care of. Worth the price for sure, even being on the west coast where our trucks are everywhere.

Real pretty truck, although buy it now's a little high for this economy - I sold a '70 in similar shape in California not too long ago for $5500. I'm not sure what he meant about cutting the bottoms of the fenders. I hope he get what he's asking for it.

Hmm, I missed the comment about cutting the bottom out of the fenders in his write-up. And the next time you sell one this nice for $5500, I expect a phone call!! (ha, but that's good to hear - there's hope for this market yet!)

I wish I had the money! Looks to be in very good condition. I usually only check the C10s on Ebay. I guess I should expand my search.

Thanks for the link Jocko. It's nice to see what others have done!

Man, that's sad. I had to give up pretty much all my toys these past two years, but they're not gonna get my truck until they pry the steering wheel from my cold dead fingers!

I too am wondering what he means by "cut front fenders" cause they look normal to me. The other thing is that the differential looks like a 10 bolt to me. Did they use 10 bolts on C20's back then?

I am assuming he means that the PO cut the lower front fenders to install a patch panel where they normally rust out behind the front wheels.

Good question about the 10 bolt - i don't know about that one.

Looks like the same Eaton HO52 rear as what I have in my 69 C/20.

Okay, if that is what it is ,do you know if that is correct for the truck?

I was wondering about that too tanman - it kinda has a 60-66 interior feel to it. And I haven't noticed that (silver or fawn interior, etc) before on any 67-72s. That is NOT a stock interior paint job, correct??

Re: is it just me - this looks like a sweet truck for a good price

It's stock; most "lower" model trucks were painted that same color inside regardless of ext color (I've had 2 gmc's + 1 chev the same). For my parts that's nearly the deal of the decade!!
