4 link suspension??
Do any of you run 4-link suspension in your truck? If so, what changes did you do to make everything work? Also, I would like to see pictures of how you did your set-up. Thanks

To tell you the truth you won't see many 4 link suspensions on 1/2Ton 2wd 67-72 because the trailing arm suspension is allready awsome. It's actually better than most 4 link set-ups.

I'm planning on running an AirRide Triangulated four-link to replace my leaf springs. So they are a good option for those of us not blessed with coils!
 Oh how I wish I had a coil frame though :p Anybody got any info? I'd love to see one installed. Thanks

If you run a high-horsepower engine you want to use a prostreet 4 link set up. If you don't , you'll twist the rearend clean out from under the truck. (I saw a t-bucket do this)

Um, I'm gonna run a Triangulated 4 link, designed by me. It's gonna have bags. But talk to DR. LOW, he has a 4 link with bags. Truck will lay rockers I think.

im in the process of setting up a triangulated four link on my bagged 68 right now, one thing to consider is with a stock 12 bolt you CAN NOT weld the brackets to the pumpkin for the angled top bars, it is cast and will not penetrate, try welding something to it, youll see. Im going to run a narrowed 9 inch ford rear end on mine.

You can weld it, but it is a pain in the gas (prices are high). The housing would have to be baked first to get the oil out of it, then while it was preheated, prepare the spot, then weld with the high dollar rod (welder at work told me it was about $60 a pound). It is easier to use a 9" definately.
