AfterMarket Cruise Control
Has anyone on here used an aftermarket cruise control? I'm familiar with the ROSTA unit that Dakota Digital (among others) sells. I've seen some mention of an AudioVox unit, but the're hard to find. Any suggestions? - I just returned from a 500+ mi. weekend trip and between my arthiritis and gout, my right ankle was really hurting. Thinking a cruise control might help.

Re: AfterMarket Cruise Control
Not an aftermarket one, but I'm working on installing a cruise control unit off my 91 chevy donor truck into my 69. I'm also using the engine.
This cruise control unit is a stand alone unit. I think you'd have to make a bracket and extra linkage or something that hooks to the carb to get it to work, but I think it would be doable. Also, my 68 with a DBW LSx has cruise control. |

That looks pretty good. How do you like it? Does it hold constant speed well on hills? |

[quote=domeier;5050413]It holds the speed fine... I have something wired wrong because when I hit the brakes it doesn't shut off the cruise.
