looking for info on 66 deluxe steering wheel
Can someone tell me what the orginal color was around the shield in the 66deluxe horn button. I have only seen chrome.Was told today that when new the shield was chrome and background was gold. Thanks Kenny

mine's out in the barn right now but i think goldish is correct.
BTW this is the identical horn ring used in a 66 nova. |

If you're talking about the grooved area in the horn button the original color is black. I cleaned up a faded one a couple months ago and it was black, and the one on my '66 is painted black. Hope this helps!
