Remote Starter Solenoid Stuck

I went out to start my truck last night and when I did the starter solenoid stuck open. My battery was really low and I think may have been the culprit. I took the neg cable off and hooked some jumper cables to it. It stayed stuck open until I gave it a short rap with a screwdriver handle. Then it worked as it should. I charged up the batt and didn't have another problem with it. Anyone have this problem before? I am thinking I should replace the remote solenoid. It has been on the truck for about 6 months but could be defective. Thoughts?

Merry Christmas,
Matt

Re: Remote Starter Solenoid Stuck

If it did it once, it'll do it again.
