I have two 2 1/2" Pioneers in front - need crossovers to get rid of the bass for them.

Is putting in the dash speakers Worth it or not? I would be putting in kicker 1/2in and whatever size the middle speaker is.

It does make it sound better, but don't expect bass from them. You'll only get mid and high range.

In my '91 Suburban I am running stock size (3 1/2") two ways in the dash (JL Audio, I believe) and custom HDF and fiberglass kick panels, matching vinyl of course, and 6 1/2" MBQuart two-ways with Competition x-overs. Running it all off a Viper 1100.5 5 channel amp and it ROCKS! Loud and clear. Those MBQuarts will take your head off!
