64 gmc 2500
Hi, I sent a post to this sit a few days ago about selling a 1964 GMC
2500 that I stripped down from a damaged motorhome that was built by OpenRoad. The cab is modified with a hole cut into the roof and continuing down the back of the cab. vin#2505PF4318B, eng. # 305E299775, trans. 2sp PG body type 2500, small window, discription- truck was built in Pontiac Mi. Was then turned into a Open Road motorhome. Roof leaked, ruined structural integrity of the motorhome. I removed the motorhome body to a bare frame. I checked motor over and was able to get it started. Truck had been sitting for 10+ years in a place called Hinkley, Ca. It has 48,000 miles on the odometer, which could be right? The motor and interior (dash, gauges, Motorola AM radio) are wonderfully unmolested. All glass is clean and straight, as well as the front clip, doors, hood and frame. It also has duel exhaust as well as duel rear axel. If you Know of anyone who maybe interested in buying this AS-IS please send this to them. I don't know how to download pic's, which I have lots of, on a website or I would include some. I'm located on the high desert in Apple Valley, Calif. 92307 Thanks John Yates Apple Valley, Calif Ph # 760-985-3333. scrapiron196891@yahoo.com this is not my message but the ownwers ron |

You have to be a paid subscribing member to post FOR SALE ad's on the site.
So if I were you I would delete or change this post so the Mod's don't get mad. |

is a link to pictures on the above truck remember that this a GMC guy , so if you talk to him about ; don't go opening your mouth about putting a 350 into it as that will more than likely be the end of the conversation. ron |

Hinkley...anything from there could be extremely toxic. That is where Erin Brockovich ivestigated the hexavalant chromium P, G & E had sitting in their evaporation ponds and polluted the ground water. Hinkley used to be near Barstow, in the High Desert of California, but today, it has pretty much vanished.
