annoyed help. (carb set up)
ok yall.. im not going to tell the following.
jets installed, secondary spring installed, timing set at, and advance springs in distro. Id like to see yalls input.. my current set up has me "flattening out" bad at 4 grand... which is weird.. i cant figure out why.... ( i keep tweaking but ive been so all over the place that i just need to start from the beginning) I need to get a new timing tape on my dang balancer also.. SO! here's the list of things done ((yall have seen it before)) PLEASE tell me what you would run for jets, timing(initial) and advance springs. sbc 350, stock pistons, bottom end Patriot sbc 23 degree heads aluminum heads 190cc runners 2.02 intake 1.60 Exhaust Hardened steel seats Max life .575. .750 reach, gasket seat angle head plugs cam RENEGADE PN 158881 dur@.050 Int 234 exh 244 vaulve lift int .488 exh .510 intake edlebrock perfromer RPM carb holley 670 carb with a 7.5 power valve. (8.5 is way to rich.. 6.5 causes serious delay) MSD box/cap wires/rotor accell distruibutor. headers thru exhaust. all connected to a built th350 with 2600 stall. going out to a 2.41 rear (3.73 posi swap soon) in my camaro.

Are you sure the secondaries are working? I had a motor very similar to that and it was very picky with the Timing. Had to run the lightest springs I could find. But if your losing power I'd try another Carb and see if it fixes the problem. I had a couple carbs where the secondaries wouldn't work and it would fall on its face around 4k

Get an Air/Fuel gage connected in and see what happens at 4k. It may not even be fuel related.
