Help with plug wire placement please.....

In the process of trying to get my '63 running I robbed the dist cap and wires off my '65. I was planning to put a cap and wires back on the '65 by looking at the '63, but I ended up selling the '63 before I got a chance to do it. Can some one help me out by telling me where the ends go on the cap and which spark plug??? Its a 283 v8. Thanks, Jared

Re: Help with plug wire placement please.....

here you go it will only work if your distributor was set in with the number one in the same spot as factory :

Re: Help with plug wire placement please.....

Most factory intakes have the firing order cast into them also.

Re: Help with plug wire placement please.....

Roll it to 10* btdc and then drop the unit into the block get the rotor to point at number 1 cylinder. That is 1 in the firing order now.
