Originally had utility buckets?
My Blazer has some non-stock seats in it. I'd like to switch back to stock.
Based on this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=322837 I'm pretty sure it originally came with utility buckets. It is just over 15" between the front mounting bolts and the rear on the driver's side. Just want to make sure, as I don't want to go through all the hassle of finding a set, getting them shipped out and then finding out I misread something.... |

Re: Originally had utility buckets?
There are also two types of utilities...the bottom cushion sits flatter on some, i think they came on panels trucks, dunno
Make sure you get a set with the proper tilt

When you say proper tilt, are you referring to the tilt on the passenger side so you can get into the back seat? |

Re: Originally had utility buckets?
Is your SPID still on the glove box door? That will tell you if you had utility buckets. The passenger utility bucket ( a second front seat was actually an option) will be listed as 1AN3AA Heavy Duty Aux Seat.

Re: Originally had utility buckets?
Too bad you are not close to me, there has been a set of utility buckets in a u pick it junk yard by me for several weeks. Everytime I go down there I think they are going to be gone but they never are.

Re: Originally had utility buckets?
I did some measuring on my utility bucket seat brackets. The driver's side front brackets outer bolt holes are 17 3/4" apart center to center and the inside bolt holes are 10 3/8" center to center. If you measure back from the center outer front bolt hole on the outside of the driver's seat to the center of the outer rear bolt hole you should have 15 3/8 ". The rear outer bracket holes measure 16 1/2" center to center and the inner holes measure 12" center to center.
The passenger bucket flips forward for rear seat entry. The front brackets which are hinged measure 15 3/" center to center for the outer holes and the inner holes measure 11 1/4" center to center. The rear has a bracket held by two bolts. A trunion on the rear of the passenger seat bottom locks into this bracket. I have a couple of photos of the bolts in the floor for reference. You can see the passenger rear floor bracket.
