frame ?

I have a 84 longbed. While doin the brakes over wkend I noticed the frame has cracks where the c-notch is, drive & passenger side about .75-1.5". Also the front shock bolts broke an just welded on. I can get a frame for $150 an I can sand blast an paint @ work.
An have a shop swap out. What are my options an having least dwn time as its my dd.
What would labor cost on something like this

Re: frame ?

I would think labor would be expensive to do the swap.
Maybe COMPLETELY rebuild the new frame and do the swap yourself.
The price of the frame itself,... is cheap enough.
