help with air cleaner v8 original which is right

i have found 2 styles for air cleaners for chevy v8 which is right for a 1966 look at the stamping on the top edge one carrys over top edge and one does not anybody have a original 66 v8 which is right see pictures

Mine has both on the same air cleaner - near the snorkel and at the front, the indents do not carry over (i.e. like pic 1) - around the rest of the perimeter, they do carry over (like pic 2).

but also note that the ring around the top - i.e. the rasied ring just inboard from your indentations - is different in the pics also. My air cleaner matches the 2nd pic - flat raised ring. In the pic, you will only see the indents that DON'T go over the edge - but the ones you see are about the only ones that don't, the rest that aren't visibl on this air cleaner do go over the edge.

(PS, yes I know my air cleaner snorkel is pointing the wrong way - it was on loosely, kinda laying there while I was workin on the brakes)
