1970 c10 6x4.5 rotors???

i have a 1970 c10 with drum brakes and i picked up some rims cheap but they are the small 6 lug (6x4.5). my plan is to get drop spindles and put disc brakes up front, so is there anyone that sells rotors that would work these rims??

are you sure they aren't 6x5.5? I've never heard of a 4.5 BC on a truck rim - or the "small" 6 lug wheels?? Interested in this topic.

6x4.5 or 6x114.3 is the same lug pattern, used on small 6 lug applications, trailblazers, durangos, etc.....whoever it was at GM that thought it was a good idea to make 2 different 6 lug patterns should be shat on!!!

Ha! I don't disagree. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Back to redgie's original question - sounds like you bought the wrong wheels - and while you could correct the issue MAYBE by buying hubs for the wheels in your disk conversion process, maybe it's just me, but I'd personally be more comfortable with the hubs that were designed for a full-size truck like the one you own. I'd recommend selling the wheels or just chalking it up to, well, Craigslist. At least you got them cheap! maybe you can sell them and break even.

Pics? What kind of wheels do you have / want, etc? Note 70 stock steelies won't work with disks - so maybe this is why you grabbed the others - but I'd recommend 71 and later stock K10 (4WD) steelies as they are 6 lug and clear the disks.

Or if you want aftermarket, you could save up and just about anything will fit disks.
