But its a xl which means hand crank windows vinyl seat rubber floor mat your basic work truck package. What about a diesel swap in your truck you have?A 6.2/6.5 will bolt right in or a 12 valve cummins with the right swap parts. If you do look at it check the bottom of the doors and rockers for rust and the rear cab mounts.

yeah...I don't have the diesel as of right now... the plan is to swap a cummins into the chevy... Not Really Concerned about the interior... I Can Upgrade that...and Crank Windows Ehhhh No Biggy lol I was also doing a 4x4 Swap-in on mine... cause its only a 2wd... I have the dana60... but thats ALL at this point in time... and its not even a complete setup... no lockouts or stearing parts....

Having driven semis for a good chunk of my life, even used 7.3' scare me a bit. Economy goes down the drain if a turbo or a pump goes.

Re: Not What I would love to do... But Necessity Out weighs wants...

The 6.0 which started in 04 i think was kinda crap you might find one with a blown engine and just throw a 12 valve in it.I have seen some early gas super duties sell for 6k ish here i have thought long and hard about buying one and throwing a cummins in it.If you go 97 back the f350 had a solid axle in the front the f250 had the ttb but its beefer then what the f150 used.
