Re: '65 rear end swap?
Your e-brake cable will have four prongs on on the outer casing you`ll need to squeeze to get it loose from the backing plates, the cable itself will have a c-clip holding it on, they should interchange..the panard bar...did you by an adjustable one...? its a matter of bolting it on and adjusting it so that the wheels are centered to the frame at ride height..

Re: '65 rear end swap?
trac bar is adjustable.. thanks for info. i tried to take the drums off and could never figure out how to do it. its an eaton 8 lug rear with no-spin detroit locker. do i need to remove the axles first to get the drums off?

Re: '65 rear end swap?
Drain the rear end. Remove the bolts at the axle flanges. You'll probably have to use a stiff scraper to get in between "hub" and axle. Pull the axles all the way out. Now, you'll see a lock nut(probly with a locking tab), and behind that, the wheel bearings. Remove lock nut, locking tab/washer, tense your gut muscles up and slide the hub/drum asm off.
I think...

Re: '65 rear end swap?
Gear oil!! Seriously though. I'd run a quality 80w-90, or 75-140. Don't use synthetic, it eats some silicone, and, it's expensive.
