1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
Considering selling my DD and wanted to check pricing before I put it up for sale.
1997 GMC Yukon GT Black with Barn Doors Gray Leather Interior Gray Carpet Cold A/C 202,xxx Mileage - Vortec 350 - just had oil changed over the weekend Trans was rebuilt (I have paperwork) a few years ago Rust in the body: Scale on bottom of both front doors Scale on bottom of both rear doors Rusted through behind passenger side door No mechanical problems to speak of (brakes/motor/trans)- just want to move to something less thirsty and fewer miles. I can get pix tonight when I get home if the weather holds out. Anybody have any insight as to pricing? |

They are going anywhere from $3-7gs depending on modifications, mileage and condition. You could probably price it at $6gs so you have some wiggle room. Not sure what you're bottom $ is though. Over here on the west coast they are going a lot cheaper than where you live lol Over here I'd say price it at $4gs.

Re: 1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
I would agree with $6,000 as a starting point. Should get a fairly quick sale. There aren't many out there when looking on searchtempest.

Re: 1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
This was our 93 with 200,xxx miles. Ran and drove nice and just starting to get some rust. Lots of options. Sat on it for awhile at 3k and finally sold it for about 2,400. Prices on these 2 doors seem really high, but i don't see people paying it. We replaced it with a 94 with about 40k less miles and no rust. We picked that up for 3,500. I have been watching the market on this style for over 5 years since my wife likes them.
Without pics of yours i would price it at $3500-$4000

Re: 1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
I hear what Eric is saying but the Yukon GT has a cult following of sorts and IMO it commands a higher price. I did a nationwide searchtempest search for "1997 GMC Yukon GT", there were five results, the three I posted, plus a trashed one at $3,500 and a completely custom one at $8,500. I know my search wasn't the best, I should have included "97" and maybe dropped the GT to find some mislabled ones but I was just doig a quick and dirty search to help the OP.

Re: 1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
I thought the GT's were all color matched? Just wondering about that. Not dogging or anything like that.

Re: 1997 Black GMC Yukon GT
Interesting- but not what the market would dictate it would seem.
I started at $3000 to move it quick and now it is listed for $1500. |
