For all You Long Bed Lover's
Just had to share this story. Was at the barber shop with My boys this afternoon My 11 yr old was done first and as we were waiting for his brother, I was looking at some craigslist ads on My phone I showed My 11 yr old a picture of a squarebody shortbed and he asked where the rest of the truck was. He said You might as well call it a car.

Re: For all You Long Bed Lover's
As long as it's a Fleetside. The only use I can envision for a longbed step side would be to enter it in an ugly truck contest!

Re: For all You Long Bed Lover's
Ha, sounds like ya raised him right! I'd rather have a long bed anyday, I have walked away from some fairly cheap short beds. I'm one of those crazy people that uses my truck for work and love my long bed, just think how I'd feel with a longhorn!

Your son is wise beyond his years!
Better not let him see our double-cab Tacoma with its stubby lil bed.

GRX, your pic looks funny, like it's been stretched. Are you sure that's a long step bed?!

Re: For all You Long Bed Lover's
El Jays long bed stepper was a beast! Kinda funny looking but would whoop the tail off most rigs on the road. The thing was a thumper (it still is his son inherited it and is cleaning it up quite nice!).

Re: For all You Long Bed Lover's
I like those long step sides! A buddy of mine use to drive his grandfather's 67 long step back when we were in highschool in the early 80's. It had a 250 6 cyl. and a 4 speed, I used to drive it often, loved that truck! Being teenagers, we were talking one day and he said he couldn't get it to smoke the tires, so I said let me try, he was standing there watching me. I didn't get it to smoke the tires but he busted out laughing, he came to the door and said "You pulled the front wheels off the ground!" I miss those days LOL!

Re: For all You Long Bed Lover's
You had better teach him how to lengthen a shortbed frame into a longbed/longhorn frame.
