Turn signal switch

Sup guys, was wondering if anyone have a vid. or can tell me how to replace that switch.. how would you get the wires out thru the steering column.. i didnt see how to get the plastic column cover out to be able to see how to get it out..

Just cut the connector off of the old switch and pull the wires up through. I use a very long screwdriver to guide the new connector down through the column on the right side.

No... you cut the connector off of the OLD switch that you are removing!!!! NOT the new switch that you are installing...

The black connector that holds the wires at the bottom of the new switch. Each wire can be removed from the holder by releasing the tab on the wire connector inside the plug. Be careful to mark where the wire come out of the plug before removal. after all wires are out you can fish them down inside your steering column.

Below is a Painless replacement part to show you where the wires can be removed from your plug.
