Kayline Soft Top

I just got a very good deal on a Kayline Soft top. The problem I have now is there are missing parts. I have two questions. Does anyone know if anyone has any parts or reproduces them? Or does anyone have any pics so I can make some. I am missing the snap rail that attaches at the windshield, Missing the snap rail that attaches to the tailgate, and missing the pieces that attach to the windshield for the frame around the doors.
I done a little research and found that a company named STC took them over and have since gone out of business. It shows a Jeep site to contact and I asked them for some info and they said noone continued to make tham. Thanks in advance for the info. There was a company in Boulder,Co making them does anyone have any info on them?

Re: Kayline Soft Top

The company in Colorado now making soft tops is Soft Topper. Not sure if their rail systems designed for their top will work with your top though.

Convenient that you live in Colorado though, I'd buzz over there and show them what you have, that might help alot.

Re: Kayline Soft Top

The old Kaylines didn't have snap rails on the windshield or tailgate. The snaps were screwed directly into the windshield frame and tailgate.

Re: Kayline Soft Top

Ok read the instructions and your right you are suppose to drill holes and screw in snaps. DOes anyone have a pic of what theres looks like? Are you happy with it? The only thing I think I need are the windshield brackets for the window frame brackets. Does anyone have a pic maybe I can make them. Thanks

Re: Kayline Soft Top

I agree I don't want to drill holes in the windshield. I will fab something to attach to it. Was just curious what others have done and looking for pics. I can't find a pic on what the windshield bracket is suppose to look like.

Re: Kayline Soft Top

Sound like you may have a Bestop softtop if you have to put snaps on the windshield frame. I have one of those and all of the hardware looks pretty easy to duplicate, including the door frames.

Re: Kayline Soft Top

It says Kayline right on it. So I am sure. I am missing the windshield brackets and have no idea what they look like.
