window fuzzies install

On a 65, is there any order on which to install first so the rest of the pieces go on smothley ? It looks like if I put the vent piece in first it will make the fuzzies harder to install, or am I just over thinking this? Thanks. Also any tips on pushing the vent fuzzies all the way down, the window is still in the truck.

Re: window fuzzies install

I used a straight slot screwdriver and just took my time. Started by the vents and worked my way to the rear of the door. The will push in with a little effort.

Re: window fuzzies install

Did you cut the end of the fuzzies where they curve up at the back of the door? I cant seem to get them to go under the door channel rubber. It seems if I cut off 1/2 '' to 1'' they would stop just before the rubber, be alot easier to install and still keep the window from rattling.

Re: window fuzzies install

I didn't have to cut mine. But if I had to trim them I would. The problem is there are som many differnt companies selling them that they are all different. If they need trimmed, Id do it.
