Bagged 69
I have a build thread on the c10forum. Since I referenced this site for a good amount of my build, I thought it would be appropriate to put my build thread on this site. The truck was bought for 1000 with no motor or trans. After I found a running 350/350, I was on the road. A year later, the front seal to the trans went out, so I figured that this would be a good time to bag this truck. I did all the work myself, with the help of a few friends.
Starting with the front. I used all PB on the entire truck. |

Re: Bagged 69
Now I need to put some attention on the rear. The rear of the truck took a bit more time than the front. Lots of air chiseling rivets and welding. Fortunately, I love welding and my neighbors hate air chiseling.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been lurking this forum for quite awhile. And yes, there are some bad ass rides on this site.

Re: Bagged 69
Even though I loved the look of the steelies on the truck, the offset was so much that it was a hassle to drive. I ordered up some 20" smoothies from Centerline and I mounted some 245/35R20 on them. Going with this size tire lowered my truck over an inch.

Re: Bagged 69
On this truck, I wanted to do everything. This included paint and body work. This would also be my first time spraying automotive paint. I chose a color that wasn't a metallic because I had to paint the truck in pieces at different times because of the space limitations I had. After looking long and hard for a OE tailgate. I didn't have any more excuses not to paint the truck. I started with the bed and tailgate.

Re: Bagged 69
I took the doors off to get the jams and inside of the cab. Reinstalled the doors and masked what had been painted and sprayed the outside.
