econo heater to deluxe heater info
What is needed to go from (1 knob) econo heater to (3 Lever)deluxe heater.

if you can find a truck that has everything in it i would grab everything! because you need the three lever panel off the dash, the heater box that goes under the hood and under the dash and all pull cables! i think that pretty much somes it up but someone that know more will chime in i'm sure!!

He was asking for me. I have the firewall mounted heater with something under the dash, never looked, plus there are defroster vents in the dash.
perro has the controls and I wanted/needed to know what else I would need to have the Deluxe heater set up thanks, Steve |

Post #49 on the following thread shows the installation instructions for the 1960 Deluxe Heater. Post #50 shows the same instructions for the economy heater. The later heaters and controls are slightly different, but perhaps the pictures will clarify what is needed for one style over the other.
