1967 c10 longbed chop

so ive been slowly building this truck for three years now I havent done much in the last two but im getting back in to it now and hope to have it at least driveable by the end off june for the big car show weekend in our area "Cool Desert Nights" so im hoping that starting this thread will keep me motivated and will remind me to take pictures along the way so heres where i am so far just finished the majority of my z'd frame a little grinding and painting away from having the hard part done

Re: 1967 c10 longbed chop

No going to run whitewalls on the wheels in the pictures below. The tires will be a smaller size though. The tires in the picture are trailer tires and are 29 1/2 inches tall. I also do not have drop spindles so if i need to go lower in the front i can get some. I want to run these wheels because they match the patina look of the truck which im keeping

Re: 1967 c10 longbed chop

is it 12 inches off the middle and 8 off the back? im getting ready to chop my 67. any advise would be great. i pulled the bed off today and found they had welded 1/8 diamond plate over the top of the wood planks.. lol the woods shot out, but all the hardware seems to be there.
