New Drop...New Wheels and Tires!

I put a ECE 4/6 drop and some new Showwheel Streeters from Street3285 ( Great guy to deal with)!
I have been stuck in the 80's for 25 years and decided to join the 2000 crowd.

The first is a before pic. I have had the truck since 1989 and it has looked exactly the same since being painted in 1991.

Specs are 20x10 with 295/45/20 proxes and the front are 18x8 with 255/45/18 proxes. I know the sidewall is a little tall for most, but the last pictures will show why!

10 miles of dirt road is why I can't have anything nice. It is also why I have the taller tires!

I know what ya mean, I grew up on 10 miles of dirt road. Of course, when I lived out there, I never had anything that you could tell the difference between the oxidation and the dust on the paint. The truck looks great reguardless. I was also curious if you could tell me what mirrors and single peice gless set you have on that too. They look pretty clean and I am trying to get some idea's for my Blazer.

Only one thing.....it is a small block 400. I put the emblems on after putting the motor in! It isn't a total lie!

I've only driven it about 50 miles home, but it seems to be a little stiff in the back. I'm sure it will soften up with more miles! It handles pretty good!

I am glad I went with the taller tires!

Your truck will have to go in our gallery when we get it finished & uploaded to the site.
I will get it waxed and polished soon and send you some better pics!

Street3285 had a special on them last month. About 800 shipped! Travis is a great guy to deal with!

Sounds good to me!

I love peace and quiet!
I did the mirror and glass change in 1991. The mirrors were for an 88+ chev truck (aftermarket) and we made a plate to bolt them to. I worked in a glass shop at the time....the glass is laminated with tint inbetween the glass. We made a template and custom cut the glass. Unfortunately the power window motors are getting worn out now![

Those look great! I hope the dirt road isn't your driveway, it would be a drag to dirty those beauties up! If it is you should park it by the hiway and ride your bike out there!
Very nice!

Nice, those wheels and tires fit perfect! The gravel road dust washes right off, i know, small price to pay for the piece and quiet! Looks great! Joseph
