I agree. If you are using an original style radiator, it may be easier to make one or have one made. There was a recent thread here somewhere on making a custom fan shroud out of fiberglass. It is actually quite easy to do.

I have this one, I believe it fits 60-62 (am not positive). If you have dimensions, I can measure this.

the diameter of barrel is 19.5 inches
the distance from mounting holes is 27.5 inches |

i think ur right i remeber i had 65 elcomino that had a metal shroud ,but it was narrow like 2-3 inch lip ,u got me thinking,I live out here in farm country ,one guys got about 10-15 old beaters 61-69 he collects them and stores them for the demo derby,going to go by and see if he'll let me look for a shroud thx for idea mahalo Hop
