Gas tank sending unit wiring question

Does anyone know the correct way to wire this up? I have a brown wire coming off of the gas tank. Does it plug into the fuse box? Then the brown wire in the cluster connects to the brown wire coming out of the fuse box? I bought this thing and half of the wiring has been correct. I just wanted to know before I combine anything with gas.....

Re: Gas tank sending unit wiring question

Yes the brown wire from the tank plugs into the fuse block - there is a terminal marked "gas gauge". No other wire has to plug into it. Make sure that you have the tank sending unit well grounded with a wire to the frame.
