E81 - FLOOR BOARD? If so, what the heck is that?
Or is it E81 FDOOR BOARD? (as in special cut in the wood in a wood bed 72 to accomodate a truck that also has factory aux fuel tank (o.e. to clear filler neck in bed)?

WOW! I started thinking that was my old Custom Camper/20's SPID until I saw it's a '72,not '71 (and my SPID said Custom Sport Truck and 396)

It is simply the option for wooden bed floor. Steel was standard wood was optional.

thanks - just curious, I had seen wood beds in 72s before, just never knew it had to be ordered as an option. Interestingly enough, that truck did not sell today, reserve not met. Max bid was only a hair over $4000. I wouldn't have sold it for that little either. Clearly worth more. I didn't bid, decided to continue down the half-ton road. Thanks again.

what the heck... As soon as the one we were discussing closed out without a sale, THIS one shows up right behind it! I think white over ochre C20s are stalking me... I can hear them saying "buuuuuyyyyy meeeeeeee jockoooooooo"

They changed the wording at some point, I think 71 or 72, to "FLOOR BOARD" from the previous and more common wording of "PICKUP BOX FLR".

Really? That makes me wonder then - when did steel bed floor become standard, 67? And so up until 71 or 2 it was PICKUP BOX FLR? Hmm. I learn something new every day.
