59 fleetside hod hinges
i bought new springs but the hinges are loose. hood drops while im working. anyone have luck tightening them up?

your hinge rivets are toast just buy some new hinges dude they retail on some sites for like 60$ each well worth it

Big mistake can be over cleaning hinges, they need some friction to stay put when open. If the rivets are worn or loose, no friction. Take a look and you might be able to cinch them up, if not repops are available.

yea pick a set of repops. I tried the spring route but a fresh set of hinges worked great
