coys wheels with hd brakes
I have the HD brakes 1 1/4" rotors on my '79 and would like to run coys wheels but I know some wheels (maybe most) dont fit correctly over the rotors center hub. anyone know for sure if they'll work?

Re: coys wheels with hd brakes
They fit. The center cap needs to be spaced out slightly or it will contact the wheel bearing cover. Some guys put a spacer behind the wheel while others opt to make a spacer just for the center cap.

Re: coys wheels with hd brakes
The ones I had were about .125". Perhaps Coy's corrected the cap depth issue since it sounds like Cochino didn't have issues.

Re: coys wheels with hd brakes
OK thanks for the help guys, this has been a big worry of mine. I thought about changing over to the 1" rotors setup but really prefer to stay with the heavier brakes.
