Cool Facelift on my 72 C20

I swapped fenders, hood, cowl, doors so far. Getting the doors aligned was the funnest part but I managed by myself. I added a better grille also. Next I will swap in saddle visors, saddle column/wheel, saddle seatbelts, ochre glove box door and ahstray. I dont really love the saddle color but the door panels look good enough as do the interior parts. My truck is starting to look like a work truck now Anyhow here are some crappy cell phone pics

Thanks ! Its too bad the cab had a huge cut out in the back for the camper or I would of snatched it up. It was clean inside.

Cool man, that's where I'm at currently. Did you find a nest in your air box behind the heater fan, and 5 handfulls of dirt, rust and wall nut shells inside the bottom of the passenger side fender under the battery too? Oh, and a ??? year old pair of slip joints, and 1/4 wrench.

Good deal on the grill. I need another one, or someone to teach me how to beat it straight again.

The grille was hanging on my garage wall for about 3 yrs. now It came from another 72 I parted for disc brake conversion on a 67 Shortie I had. I sold that truck and this is all I had left, good thing I held on to it The passenger side fender has some rust through in the cup from the battery but I can live with that. The driver side fender had the whole fender cup full of dirt, wire, and a 1/4" drive 5/16" socket that was rusted real thin No nest in the heater box, I cleaned that out and added new gaskets there about 2 yrs. ago Thanks !

Re: Facelift on my 72 C20

I could use some input on the interior color. I have black column, seat belts, dash pad, etc... The doors I got came with door panels in dark saddle color. I got the visors, dash pad and seat belts etc. Should I keep the black interior color, or use the dark saddle color ? I will be installing a tilt column so I think the black would match better... Either way I have to scuff and paint the inside of the cab to somewhat match the ochre color. Anybody know of a spray paint can that closely matches the ochre color ?
