Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
My Dad said this truck was so ugly it had to be named Harold. Finally after 6 years of trying to buy it i brought it home got it running and drove it the same day. Ive been working on this truck for the past few months. 76 front cross member p/s, p/b, 86 rearend, 76 350 with an rv cam.

Dont know if you can tell from the pics but there is not a straight body panel on this truck and i think thats my favorite part.

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
I like it,keep plugging along.Best part is when its like that, you don't have to worry about getting it scratched or dented.Looks good.I like the GMC's because You see less of them on the road.

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
Your truck is looking good to me. It has the perfect origional patina that everyone is trying to replicate. I would get the drivetrain reliable and drive the wheels off of it.

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
thanks for the support again. Mc Murphy looks like ur builds is coming along that show i was at was actually in palouse right near your neck of the woods. Bad news i think i am going to go to chevy style coils in the back the old leaf springs are just worn out, plus i already have a whole setup for a chevy with 5" drop springs.

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
patina, or not patina, that is the question... only you can answer that one, personally I'm not a huge fan, but I also wouldn't say I don't like it, I do love your ugly old truck though

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
To Patina or Not to Patina is such a tough question.
I don't like rust, but I really see what those mean when they talk about the truck has gone through life naturally. I really do like these shots:

Re: Harold (66 C-10 SWB)
Got one side bolted up yesterday and finished the other today. I flipped the control arm brackets to save the angle if the arm and coil spring. I am awaiting an under bed fuel tank so i know where i can mount up my panard bar. Cant wait to put the bed back on and see how low it sits in the back now.
THANKS FOR THE HELP SIR WILLIAM
