Project: Four of Aces
I posted some pictures of my pickup and told you guys what i was doing, but it i have got a solid idea on what im doing. This will be a very slow project; im only sixteen with a tight budget. But this pickup use to be a 3/4 ton pickup with three fuel tanks and a ruined 327. We had a guy rebuild the 327 but he failed and that motor was scrapped. So dad and i took his 350 out of his 81 chevy and put in it. Removed the two extra tanks in the bed. We got a donor truck and switched the running gear back to 1/2 ton. We bought new wheels and tires, put 12" glass packs with turn outs right before the back tires. Put new JVC stereo and pioneer speakers buffed and polished it and worked on it since we got it to run just got done fixing the power steering!!! I can turn it with one finger again. Oh and got a used but in good condition grill, all the air conditioner guys i needed, and bumper for $170 worth like $1000. Its a great pickup i will never sale it. I get alot of comments everywhere i go or people staring when i drive by! Ill try to get some pictures on here it wont let me saying its a bad request.

Re: Project: Four of Aces
upload your pics to a "photo bucket" type website, then highlight and copy the link to that pic. Once your making a "reply" you can use the little yellow box at the top (the insert image box) to paste your copied link and that will show your pic once your reply is posted. Hope this helps.

Ok i got to were you guys can see the pics but u have to go to photo bucket so i hope you dont mind. the website address goes straight to my album. Leave comments please.. My suspension has puzzled me but when I found Porterbuilt fabrication i will be doing business with them. Then i found POPS 72 CHEVY CHEYENNE BY SUPERFLYSTEINY Then he made my vision clear but i will going with a maroon and white two tone color instead of black and different wheels but i going to have the same suspension and wheel size. I hope you dont mind SUPERFLYSTEINY!!!! Last edited by 1970/327/c10; 06-01-2012 at 09:31 PM. |
