I'm thinkin 1 speed wiper motor on 65 c10
Trying to troubleshoot why wipers don't work. Took some pics. Not sure but looks like it's a 1 speed wiper motor? Only two wire tabs on front, yellow and blue. Does that seem right? And I read on here somewhere that the switch only has one wire going to it? Any suggestions appreciated. (that is until I get the right manual sent to me-inside joke to self)

Yes, the 20 gauge LT Blue wire goes from the switch to the wiper motor. The switch completes the ground by grounding through the instrument bezel. If you're having wiper problems try using an internal or "serrated" lock washer between the switch and the back side of your instrument bezel.
The 20 gauge Yellow wire runs from the wiper motor to the fuse block. Hope this helps in some way. |
