what would i need to do to swap a bbc with 400tb

Is it a sb or 6 cyl truck? Standard trans?
Either way, frame stands, motor mounts, larger radiator, matching shroud, pulley and brackets if not already equipped. Also IMO it's best to swap the engine harness if I was a 6 cyl. If it was a 6 cyl truck you will also have to remove the engine mid mount by drilling or cutting the rivets. A sb is a little easier, just swap the stands. If a manual trans you will need the auto cross member. Posted via Mobile Device |
