Any Good
i am getting ready to do an oil change and change my oil pan seal right away since it is leaking. i bought the seal and NAPA Gold Filter for my 86, 350. i seen they have Quaker State Defy High Mileage Synthetic Blend 10 30 motor oil for $3.69 a quart so i picked up 6 quarts, i have always used Quaker State Motor Oil in the truck and was wonder how this high mileage synthetic blend stuff is?

Re: Any Good
I would flush the engine real good firs because synthetic oil is not the same as regular oil if not your truck could start using more oil and we want to enjoy our trucks not rebuild them because of some oil .so in my experience as mechanic for 30plus years keep using the same oil in the truck that its use to . just my 2 cents man........

Re: Any Good
i put it in my 95 f150 with an i6 i just got the results back from blackwood labs and i am happy with it in my inline 6 300. so i like it for a lil newer application. i decided to stick with 20w50 vr1 in my sbc motors.
even with this defy oil i would add a zink additive to your old sbc the zink was higher with this oil bit i still loke a lil more. just my opinion. overall its a fair oil i ran it 4200 miles and still had great numbers.
