Is this a good deal?

A guy has a NP205 from his original 73 K20. Truck had 78,000 original miles. He was going to use the t-case in a jeep project, but changed his mind for some reason. He "rebuilt" it and is willing to sell it to me for $300. It's clean and freshly painted. Only drawback-its for a T-350, but I think even with having to replace the input shaft and adapter to mate with my SM465 it's still a good deal. I want one anyway to replace my rock not so well 221.

Not in my neck of the woods. We can barely sell small bearing 205s. They all go to scrap.

Re: Is this a good deal?

Small bearing NP205s go for around $100 (150 tops) around here. Sounds awful expensive.
