brake line question
Hi,
I hope this is a no brainer, but I thought I should ask. I am hooking up my brake lines to the master cylinder after removing the anti-lock braking unit and I have a question. It looks like the rear (single - larger) brake line connects to the front of the master cylinder... looks simple. But the front (two - smaller) brake lines only have one connection point now at the back of the master cylinder. Can I just put a 'T' on the front brake lines to hook them up? thanks, mike |

Re: brake line question
Yeap, that's the way to do it.You can get "T"s with a hole to bolt it to arear axle housing but they also work good to bolt them to a cross member

Re: brake line question
thanks, I thought it was that simple, but I didn't want to assume. Man, I had a hard time getting a double flaring tool from NAPA. First one was $27 and didn't come with directions, but the directions I found on youtube helped. Then the tool broke after 3 test flares. NAPA then sold me a $75 tool that had two 3/16" die and no 1/4" die.... and that was the only kit they had. So I had to go to another NAPA who didn't have the same kit. I was able to swap one die for the other with them, soooo after waisting 4 hours, it took 5 minutes to flare the tubing. oh well.
