77 sb with DM/LS swap... tunnel cab???

Anyone out there running an LS/700r4 with PB's Dropmember, and had to tunnel the cab? Nate said the trans angle should be around -5 degrees. Well I can get it to about -7*/-8* before it hits the cab floor.

My truck was originally set up with a 2-piece drive shaft, but I'm switching to a one piece. Looks like I will definitely need to cut the carrier bearing crossmember to clear, but also looks like the drive shaft will hit the cab floor. Is this something anyone else has ran into???

Thanks,
Justin

Re: 77 sb with DM/LS swap... tunnel cab???

It's cool, verified with PB, that I do need to tunnel, slightly, for the one piece drive shaft. Didn't realize it but the LS sits about 1-2" higher than an sbc. For anyone else that needs to know.

Thanks for the compliments fellas!
