these trucks don't need vacuum gauges cause they don't suck!

Is it sold or are the flakes goming out of the woodwork? Is the plaid seatcover still there?

yep, that's sweet, a swb highlander is rare enough, let alone a pkg c with that nice list. It's got a twin C20 lwb on ebay right now also (i.e. white highlander with blue plaid)

If you can get the original Big Block then that would be a good deal...

Yes it is. In these year trucks it stands for a 402 BBC.

Jocko, Funny we were talking about this truck a week ago and it took a CL ad to get people's attention. Still like to have it, but it really is too small for my dogs. His and her's idea didn't fly at all!

i think that might partially be because on his add he had on this site he didnt have a pic of the spid, possibly would have seen this thread sooner if he had maybe? lol

stickman: i would definatly get that original motor id even go to the dump myself personally if the owner has ditched it already, having that motor will only do good things for the sale of this truck i wouldnt even be surprised if some potential buyers have already walked away because the factory big block has been replaced

Re: 1972 on craigs list az

Good Try!! :-)
Both the SPID and the warranty book pictures were posted back on the 28th. The ad is gone now that is why I archive the interesting trucks. You are right about having the stock block, its value of course depends on why it was changed. Thinking an LSX would really make this a nice cruiser that is a bit different.

Re: 1972 on craigs list az

Nice truck, but I'd say it needs the original block and to be in running/driving condition to warrant that price. With a newer block and damage to the engine, it's worth less. I'd restore that truck to original specs if it were #'s matching still.

Good luck with the sale if it's still for sale!

Re: 1972 on craigs list az

We took it off the market. We are just going to repair the engine that's in it and do some PB in the rear and get it closer to the ground and and make it handle as best we can on budget.
