turbo 400 electronic speedo?
I'm tired of messing with my stock mechanical speedo in my 75 k20 with a turbo 400. Just cant get it to work right and the little cable tops and stuff are hard to find. In the interest of having a very accurate speedo what are my options for using an electronic speedo like autometer on this truck and is it hard/expensive to do?

Re: turbo 400 electronic speedo?
I might be wrong here, but my thought is even if you switch the gauge to something with an electronic readout it is still going to have to get its signal from a mechanical cable? Unless you switched to a trans with electronic hookup, like a 4l60e or something.
Then again, for all I know the new autometer gauge has some sort of adapter that plugs in to a converter box or something that goes where the speedo cable hookup is.

Re: turbo 400 electronic speedo?
I used the "Autometer" electric sender and gauge with the 400 Turbo in my HotRod.
