60 -66 designation
Hey Guys,
I don't get on this portiion of the forum very often and have a question. The 47 2nd series to 55 1st series is the AD and the 55 2nd series to 59 is TF. What is the 60-66 designation and also (Wrong Forum I Know) the 67-72 and 73-87? Jeff |

Re: 60 -66 designation
I've heard several terms used, but none that stand out like the well known earlier series designations. Among those used are: 1st gen C/K trucks, Jobmaster trucks, Aerotrucks, and V-8 era trucks. It seems even the factory ads and literature never settled on a single name.
Here's a frame taken from a 1962 Chevrolet promo film where they call them "Jobmasters". ...Who knows? |
