Can an expert here tell me...

Is the brake pedal push rod that goes through the firewall on a 1971 c10 the same for both manual and power brakes?

I broke the rod from the pedal through the fire wall. I need a replacement. None of the local junk yards have one, but I found a rod off a truck that had manual brakes.

It is going on my 1972 blazer with powerbrakes.

this kit MIGHT help you piece back together what you need if you can't locate a 71 replacement in a yard: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/SSBC-U...Kit,50351.html
But I'd scour a few more yards first, and maybe call a few that aren't within driving distance.
