A lot of spark plugs are personal choice, everyone will have a diff plug, me I usually use an NGK platinum, the reason being they are cheaper than Bosch or AC Delco platinum and with a small tip so the electrode doesn't get in the way of the spark as much, thus a better/cleaner spark and stay cleaner than a large tip plug which is good if running it a bit richer or more cam than stock. My mpg inproves slightly as well.

i would differently go with a platinum plug but im kinda on a tight budget, i've been hearing some good things about the NGK V-Power. im mainly looking for something to improve my MPGs but yet let the truck **** n get every once in a while

The V power is a standard plug with copper and a v groove, not no noticable performance difference listed real world and has a large tip but with a notch to let a bit more spark threw, the G power/platinum will increase mpg and performance at the same time, so just a choice, me not much for standard anything and not much price difference to step up to the G power.

Re: Best Spark Plugs

I "buy" Champion platinum plugs when they are on sale for free with manufacturer's rebate. I have 32 plugs in the shed now. I do not race my work truck 454.

Re: Best Spark Plugs

I have NEVER had any luck with AC's or Champion. The center of a champion(the last time I broke one) was just a small spring like what you'd find in an ink pen! The AC's were like a carbon core. I personally like NGK and Autolite.

Re: Best Spark Plugs

I use to run Ac Delcos they worked pretty good. I switched to ngks and haven't gone back. Seem to work good and without any big issues which is always a good thing.
