I used the Evercoat brand that is compatible with fiberglass/SMC.

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
I'm really liking the idea of a spray on liner for coating the top....nice work. It looks great.

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
Thanks fellas, I have to say that I was a little nervous at first. That spray liner kit was simple and user friendly.

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
Keep us in the loop on how it holds up (scratches, peeling, etc). I might go this way on one of my tops.

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
Looks great!!! What made you stay with white on the inside?
Also, did tops come white or black from the factory?

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
I'm not sure if they were available in black and white, I left it white to help brighten it up inside. I'm tinting the windows before I put them back in as well.
I'm thinking about modifying a newer camper shell hatch to fit on he top...has anyone done this or seen it done? Any info? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Finally starting the top refurbish...
You could get a top white or black. I have a black single wall and a white double wall.
