not really anything in there for it to hit, unless its slamming up side the tank. anyone have this prob?

Yes, I have had the same trouble. Mine is cracking right in the welded/glued seam. The new ones havenr seemed to last very long. Maybe a few days or so. Im thinking of trying to saughter it next time. Anybody have a plastic one ?

Just use a cork. Works on the Model T for years. Just replaced on in my F$%D. At least with these trucks you don't need to drop the tank.

Mine cracked quite a few years ago and filled w/ gas. I drained it, dried it and fixed the crack with JB-weld. Its still in there and holding its own.

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.
