Poor fitting parts
Has anyone else suffered from poor fitting engine mounts? I am trying to replace the drivers side mount on my 350 and I am struggling like hell to get the last bolt that holds the mount and P/S pump done up. It seems like the hole in thhe mount is fractionally off. I did compare the two before I fitted the new one and there was a slight difference in the holes but I hoped there was enough tolerance to be OK, but it seems not. The new mount was made in India and is branded as "Anchor Replacement Parts" I don't have a huge amount of choice in the UK as to what brand parts I get, my only other option is to import stuff from the ususal supects on the board.
Can I just adjust the holes slightly with a file/grinder?
